Most of the colleges and universities offer admission to this course based on merit.<br \/>\nThe merit determining criteria for the course is class 12th \u00a0board percentage or equivalent educational qualification obtained by the candidate. Sanskrit is the most interesting and scientific language in the world. Sanskrit studies help in revitalizing India\u2019s morality. It helps students to make scientific insights and research related to positive science in our ancient literature. The Rigveda is the lifeblood of Indian culture and tradition of Sanskrit literature. Indian culture and traditions are only in Sanskrit language. It is a repository of all kinds of knowledge, which is very useful in maintaining a healthy and stress-free life in the society. The culture of Sanskrit is a culture of synthesis and assimilation. The study of Sanskrit language and the study of Sanskrit literature are both balanced and effectively maintained. The department also provides instruction in Vedas, Upanishads and related scriptures.
