The Department of Urdu, Maharana Pratap College, was established in the year 1979, is considered as one of the most illustrious and prominent premises for Urdu language and Literary studies in Bhabhua. The Department offers undergraduate programme in Urdulanguage and literature, leading to the award of B.A (Urdu) degree from the Veer Kunwar Singh University. The Department of Urdu also offers foundation courses in Urdu, Allied Urdu, On Major Electives (NME) for I and II year students of all discipline. The department has a well-furnished and Modernised Urdu lab for the training the students to excel in Desk Top Publishing (DTP), Designing Applications, Account and Tally. The Department of Urdu has a well-organised and methodical Library for the reference and benefit of the students, containing a large collection of books pertaining to Prose, Poetry, Journalism, Criticism, History of Urdu language and Literature and Life History and achievements of great poets and prose writers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
