Aims and Objectives of WDC:

1. To prevent sexual harassment and promote the general well-being of female students, teaching, and non-teaching women staff of Maharana Pratap College.
2. To provide suitable working conditions regarding work, leisure, health, and hygiene, ensuring no hostile environment towards women at workplaces.
3. To provide guidelines for redressing grievances related to sexual harassment of female students, teaching, and non-teaching staff.
4. To create social awareness about women’s problems, particularly regarding gender discrimination.
5. To encourage participation of NGOs working in women’s development in the Cell’s activities.
6. To organize seminars, workshops, and training programs for creating general awareness and orientation among students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
7. To promote self-reliance among women by creating awareness about self-employment schemes and organizing training programs.
8. To establish a College Women Development Cell (CWDC) at Maharana Pratap College, seeking participation from both male and female students, including those involved in NCC, NSS, and other activities.
9. To provide assistance to the CWDC in taking preventive steps against gender discrimination and sexual harassment.
10. To upload relevant information, resources, and reports on the college website to ensure transparency and awareness.
