The Maharana Pratap College Grievance Redressal Cell is established to provide a supportive and responsive mechanism for addressing student concerns and grievances. Objective & Scope

Objective
To establish a responsive and accountable mechanism for addressing student grievances, promoting a harmonious educational atmosphere, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Scope:
The cell addresses written grievances from students regarding:

  1. Academic Matters: Examination-related issues, duplicate certificates, etc.
  2. Financial Matters: Dues, payments, and refunds.
  3. Other Matters: Sanitation, food, transport, victimization, and miscellaneous concerns.

Functions:

  1. Promptly attends to written grievances.
  2. Reviews and addresses cases according to management policy.
  3. Submits reports to authorities on resolved and pending cases.
  4. Procedure for Lodging Complaints
  5. Submit written grievances in the prescribed format or via email to the officer in-charge.
  6. Drop grievances in the suggestion box/letterbox.
  7. The Grievance Redressal Cell ensures timely resolution within a stipulated time frame.

Functions:

  1. Encourages students/employees to express grievances freely without fear of victimization.
  2. Ensures anonymity through suggestion/complaint boxes.
  3. Promotes mutual respect and dignity among stakeholders.
  4. Advocates for affectionate and non-vindictive behaviour from staff towards students.
  5. Strictly prohibits ragging in and outside the institution.
