B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
The Bachelor of Education program, generally known as B.Ed., is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI–VIII), secondary level (classes IX–X), and senior secondary level (classes XI–XII).
The B.Ed. Division runs the B.Ed. program for those who aspire to become school teachers and those who are already working as assistant teachers in the various schools. The B.Ed. degree course offered by the B.Ed. Division is approved by the National Council of Teacher
Education (NCTE) and affiliated with Veer Kunwaar Singh University, Ara. It is a two-year regular (full-time) programme.
The B.Ed. Program is a set of various theory courses and practical work that are linked together meaningfully, aiming at achieving excellence and competence in pedagogic practices and enabling the teacher-trainees to become efficient and effective school teachers and
organize the school internship.
Eligibility for the B.Ed. Program:
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Sciences/ Humanities, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 % (fifty-five percent) marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program.
M.Ed. (Master of Education)

The M.Ed. degree typically consists of coursework and research in various education-related areas, including curriculum development, educational leadership, instructional design, and teaching methods. Many programs also offer practical experience through internships or field placements, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in the classroom.
Upon completion of the M.Ed. program, graduates are often qualified to teach at the primary, secondary, or higher education levels, or to work in other education-related roles such as instructional coordinators or educational administrators. B.A. or Bachelor of Arts is a four year and eight semesters undergraduate degree programme that covers a wide range of subjects within the arts and humanities, literature, history, philosophy, political science, economics, psychology, sociology and more. Students often have the flexibility to choose a major or specialization within the B.A. program based on their interests and career goals. BA Syllabus covers subjects such as Humanities, Social Studies, and Liberal Arts. Candidates pursuing the B.A. Course will have to study a combination of 5 compulsory subjects and a combination of electives with theoretical practical and assignment. B.A. Admissions are done based on merit.
